Things I’ve Done Today (Saturday Finals Edition)

• Woke up at 6am on a mother fucking Saturday
• Didn’t get out of bed until 7
• Shower
• Missed my bus because of my shower (or the staying in bed part…)
• Got to my final five minutes late
• Promptly forgot all kanji (Japanese Final)
• Went to the terrible campus library for an hour because the good one wasn’t open
• Wandered the U-district for 2 hours trying to find food/somewhere open
• Got Hawaiian food
• Got bubble tea
• Returned to campus, since the good library was open
• Spent a half hour watching youtube videos/tumblring/facebooking

So, you know, good day. 

So, if I just watch a whole bunch of anime tonight does that count as studying for my Japanese oral interview tomorrow?

Instead of being productive and cleaning my apartment today like I said I was going to, I lounged around all day watching tv, surfing tumblr, and finally beating FFXIII-2. 

I guess beating the game could be considered productive, just not quite what I had in mind.

All I want is pepperoni pizza, but I won’t be able to taste it and it will be wasted on me.

It’s about time I break out of this funk.

I really don’t understand why everyone hates The Blind Banker so much. 

I think it’s one of my favorite episodes. 

Things I Did Today

• Woke up at 5am from a nightmare, after going to sleep after 12, 
• Temporarily lost my bus pass, causing me to miss my Starbucks window.
• Went to a 7 hour orientation session - where coffee was not to be found until about 3pm. (So much walking/so many boring presentations. But free lunch)
• Registered for Winter Quarter (Eastern Religion, Intro to Contemporary Japan, Internment Camps in America - Nothing before 10am!)
• Ordered all my books for said classes.
• Went to the bank to deposit Christmas money
• Went to the grocery store
• Ordered stuff from Old Navy online because I’m to lazy to try and physically go shopping tomorrow before work.
• And now it’s 7:30. And I’m so fucking tired. But going to sleep now would be stupid.

I have now, officially, cleared out my savings account of all severance package related funds. The last bit went to paying my “yes I’m going to be a student here” deposit for UW.

Thanks, Starbucks!

(The only downside? I’M TOTALLY BROKE. AHAHAHAHAHA.)

Dear internet job whose sole purpose is now to fund my computer/help me pay off credit cards:

For the past week or so, I can’t seem to think about anything other than buying a keyboard and teaching myself how to play. 

I’m in desperate need of a creative outlet here.

I’m not tired so I’m on Tumblr for some entertainment (and working on my super obsessive Japan blog) and I see someone made a gif of one of the towers collapsing on 9/11.

Thanks, Tumblr. Because that gif was TOTALLY NECESSARY.
